Magic Software Enterprises has officially closed its merger with Matrix IT.
The short version
Magic Software and Matrix IT are now one organization. Matrix is a large IT services company, with more than 15,000 software, hardware, integration, engineering, and training professionals working out of over 20 offices worldwide. Combine that scale with Magic's offerings, and the result is a group built to take on bigger, more complex digital transformation work end to end, from strategy through implementation and ongoing support.
Why this matters beyond the press release
Matrix brings breadth like a much larger services bench, a broader portfolio, and a stronger market presence.
Lior Blik, CEO of Magic Software and Matrix USA, put it plainly: the merger is about building an organization that combines innovation, scale, and execution, one that can create new opportunities for customers, partners, and employees alike.
For organizations already running on Magic's platforms, Magic xpi, Magic xpa, FactoryEye, or any of the integration solutions built around ERP and CRM systems like SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or JD Edwards, this means access to a larger delivery organization without switching vendors or platforms. For prospects evaluating a partner for digital transformation, it means one relationship can now cover more ground: strategy, implementation, and long-term optimization, backed by a much deeper bench.
What to expect going forward
The combined organization is positioning itself around a few themes:
- Scale without losing technical depth. Matrix's services scale paired with Magic's platform expertise means projects that used to require multiple vendors may now be handled under one roof.
- End-to-end digital transformation support. From initial strategy to implementation to ongoing optimization — the merger is explicitly framed around covering the full lifecycle, not just the build phase.
- Continued investment in core platforms. Magic xpi, Magic xpa, and FactoryEye remain the technical foundation; the merger adds delivery capacity around them, not a replacement for them.
Magic Americas update
Magic Software Americas has also been in acquisition mode in the last 2 years. In 2025 we acquired Axiom Manufacturing Systems, providing us with a consulting arm and managing partners from the C-Suite at places like Rockwell and PPG. And, earlier this year, we acquired MartinCSI, a control systems integration provider with 30+ years of experience and an Ignition HMI/Inductive Automation Premier Integrator status.
Our focus is bridging the IT-OT gap for manufacturers, from the shop floor to the top floor. We connect raw floor data so you can make the right top-floor decisions and do more with what you already have from a resource perspective. This includes connecting your legacy business systems (like ERP) to modern tools (like AI with MCP and other connectors), cleaning up messy data for AI enablement, and optimizing complex processes with Lean practices to bring your manufacturing organization to the next level.
Here’s a few case studies:
FactoryEye Case Study | 18 Plants in 18 Weeks | Magic Software
How a global industrial manufacturer replaced a legacy reporting system, achieved reliable plant-floor data integrity, and scaled FactoryEye to 18 plants in 18 weeks.

Bandit Industries — From 47 Miles of Parts Travel to More Than Double the Throughput | Axiom
Bandit Industries had 47 Beast horizontal grinders sold but was only producing two per month. Working with Axiom, they increased to 5/month.

A global medical device manufacturer was stuck in pilot purgatory: high-speed lines, slow data, and reports that arrived hours after the problem. Real-time visibility on a scalable high-speed data architecture lifted throughput and yield ~15% each.

Michelman Case Study | 50% Better Data Accuracy & 60 Hours Saved Weekly | Magic Software
